Mavericks Volleyball Loses To Golden Rams, 3-0  

With the loss the Mavericks are 1-14 on the season.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The Mercy College Volleyball team lost 3-0 (11-25, 13-25, 18-25) to the West Chester University Golden Rams on Saturday.

With the loss, the Mavericks are 1-14 overall, West Chester advances to 11-7 and 7-0 at home in Hollinger Field House.

Junior middle hitter Shedeiky Hamilton (Yullahs, Jamaica) led the Mavericks in kills for the fifth-straight match with eight kills and one ace. Senior Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecaudor) was second with seven kills and eight digs. Senior Sasha Atkins (Bronx, N.Y.) tallied five kills. Rookie Rebecca Lynch (Oceanside, N.Y.) tallied 22 assists in the three-game match.

The Mavericks return home on Monday, Oct. 5 to defend their home court against the Felician College Golden Falcons. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
