Mercy College Volleyball Hosts Dig Pink Game On Tuesday
Wear Pink On Tuesday! Support the Mavericks Volleyball Team and the Side-Out Foundation.
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The coaches from all seven of the East Coast Conference volleyball teams have joined together to help support the fight against breast cancer. From October 15 through October 24 the seven teams will host a “Dig Pink” home contest to heighten awareness and raise funds for the Dig Pink Campaign founded by the Side-Out Foundation.
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Mercy College Mavericks will host their “Dig Pink” home contest against Dowling. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Mercy College gym.
Come early and join in on our 50/50 raffle. The winner will be announced in between the second and third set of the match. There will also be a $2 door donation to benefit the cause. Additionally, each team will collect donations from dig sponsors who donated money based on the number of team digs in the contest. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the Side-Out Foundation.
Visit the Mercy College Mavericks Volleyball Donation Table from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20 to make a pregame donation.

The Side-Out Foundation:
The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004
by a group of individuals drawn together by their love of
volleyball, but who also share a similar passion to be a part of
the war against breast cancer. Side-Out’s mission is to raise
money for the war against breast cancer through the recreational
activity of volleyball.
