Jonathan Feinstein was named Head Women's Soccer Coach at Mercy College in May of 2009.

Feinstein's background includes stops at the collegiate, high school and club levels. Most recently, he was named the first Director of Coaching for the Rivertowns Soccer Club in the summer of 2008. He worked with the club for six years, coaching the Rivertowns Wizards to an undefeated season in the first division of the Girls U15 and directed the program into the Eastern New York Premier League the next year. Feinstein also served as the head coach for the Westchester Select U14/U15 girls team in 2004.

Feinstein's last collegiate post was as the head men's soccer coach at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2007, after serving as a men's assistant at Saint Peter's College (NJ), a NCAA Division I program, for the previous two campaigns.

Prior to his position at Saint Peter's, Feinstein was an assistant coach at his alma mater Manhattanville College with the men's program from 2003-04. He also served there as the interim head coach in 2003, and helped lead the Valiants to a pair of Skyline Conference Tournament appearances during his tenure.

Feinstein has also previously coached the girls varsity program at nearby Hastings-on-Hudson High School. He holds a United States Soccer Federation National "B" Coaching License.

Feinstein is a 2003 graduate of Manhattanville with a Bachelor of Arts in history. He went on to receive his master's degree in liberal arts from Manhattanville in 2004. Feinstein was a standout for the Valiants from 1999-2002, earning a pair of All-Conference honors.



Marco Ferreira

Former Salesian High School standout Marco Ferreira was named assistant women's soccer coach at Mercy College in the summer of 2009.

"Marco brings a tremendous passion to the Mercy College women's soccer program," Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein said. "He has an eye for talent and a great knowledge of the game. I look forward to watching him develop our student-athletes."

Ferreira was a four-year starter as a defender at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. He served as a team captain for two years, helping his squad to a pair of Hudson Valley finals. Ferreira earned the Dolphin Award (coaches' award) for his efforts during his senior season.

He was also a two-year team captain at Salesian, earning four varsity letters and was the squad's Most Valuable Player as a senior. Ferreira was named to the All-City Second Team as a junior and senior, leading his team to the state sectionals in both seasons.

Ferreira has been coaching youth soccer in New Rochelle since the fall of 2007 and is an assistant for Coach Francesco's Goalie Clinics in Westchester County. He also serves as a head coach with the Rivertowns Soccer Club.

Ferreira is a 2009 graduate of the College of Mount Saint Vincent. He earned a bachelor's of science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He holds a United States Soccer Federation National "D" Coaching License.



Andrew Rotondaro

Andrew Rotondaro has been added as an assistant coach for the women’s soccer program. He will serve under second-year head coach Jon Feinstein.

Rotondaro will begin his collegiate coaching career this season. Prior to Mercy College, he coached at the Soccer Plus camps and for the youth soccer programs in Wethersfield, Conn., and Rye, N.Y.

He is a graduate of Manhattanville College in 2008 with a degree in economics. A four-year starter for the Valiants, the midfielder served as captain his senior season. As a freshman, he was named Rookie of the year for Skyline Conference.

The Wethersfield, Conn., native was a major contributor on the 2006 and 2007 Wethersfield High School teams that captured the Connecticut State High School Class L championships.

Rotondaro resides in Queens, N.Y.
