Jonathan Feinstein enters his third season as the Head Women's Soccer Coach at Mercy College. He was appointed to the position in May of 2009.
Feinstein has gradually built the program into a regional contender. In 2009 and 2010, Feinstein guided the Mavericks to the two winningest seasons in program history. Also in 2010, he had two players earn Rookie of the Week accolades, including current sophomore Jackie Karras. In that same season, Feinstein's squad recorded the longest winning streak in program history, racking up four straight, which included three victories on the road.
Feinstein's background includes stops at the collegiate, high school and club levels. Prior to arriving at Mercy, Feinstein was the first assistant men's soccer coach at Division I Saint Peter's College (NJ) from 2004-05. At Saint Peter's, he helped mentor three National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Regional All-Americans. Feinstein recruited many of the players who received a bid into the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2006.
Before his tenure with the Peacocks, Feinstein was the first-ever men's soccer graduate assistant coach at his alma mater Manhattanville College from 2003-04. He also served there as the interim head coach in 2003, and helped lead the Valiants to a pair of Skyline Conference Tournament appearances.
Feinstein has also been active in the club team landscape. He formerly coached the Syosset Sting Elite girls team, which won back-to-back regional titles in 2009 and 2010. In 2010, the Sting were the national runners-up at the U17 age group. He also is a staff coach with the Long Island Rough Riders Select Soccer club, as well as the FC Sting Soccer Club.
He holds a United States Soccer Federation National "A" Coaching License, as well as an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.
Feinstein is a 2003 graduate of Manhattanville College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He then went on to receive his Master of Arts degree in liberal arts from Manhattanville in 2004. Feinstein was a standout player for the Valiants from 1999-2002, earning a pair of All-Conference honors.
Feinstein currently resides in New Rochelle, N.Y.

Claudio Valenzuela enters his second season as an assistant coach under Jonathan Feinstein's women's soccer program. The 2011 season will mark his first year as the first assistant coach. In 2010, he was responsible for helping goalkeeper Stephanie DiLegge to a .752 saves percentage and three shutouts. Valenzuela also assists with the day-to-day team operations, including fund raising and recruiting.
Prior to Mercy, he coached at Purchase College, where in 2006, the Panthers claimed the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament championship. Before Purchase, he served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Manhattanville College.
Originally from Tenerife, Spain, he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Manhattanville in 2003, while playing for the Valiants alongside Mercy Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein. He holds a United States Soccer Federation National "D" License.
Valenzuela currently serves as the Director of the Youth Bureau for the city of White Plains. He resides in West Harrison, N.Y.
Joseph Agiato

Joe Agiato was hired by Head Coach Jonathan Feinstein in October
2011 as an Assistant Coach for women's soccer at Mercy
College. Agiato brings an extensive youth soccer coaching
background to the program and is a welcomed addition to the
staff.
Agiato was most recently the head coach of the Syosset Sting for
the last 10 years, leading his team to eight ENY state
cup titles and two regional championships. He also coached in
the USYSA national finals.
Prior to his tenure with the Syosset soccer club, Joe coached at
NY HOTA and the Franklin Square Raiders Soccer Clubs and brings a
total of 14 years of high-level youth soccer coaching experience to
the program.
Agiato holds an NSCAA B License as well as an NSCAA National
and Advanced National License. He was also formerly
part-owner of the Long Island Rough Riders professional soccer team
and women's W-League team.
Agiato holds a BS in Accounting and Economics from Mount Saint
Mary's University, an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Long
Island UNiveristy (C.W. Post Campus) and a Masters Degree in
Valuation Sciences from Lindenwood College.
