Mercy's Samantha LaBella Named ECC Women's Soccer
Co-Rookie of the Week 
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Mercy College women's soccer player Samantha LaBella (Mamaroneck, NY) has been named East Coast Conference (ECC) Co-Rookie of the Week. She shares the award with Brianna Felese (Centereach, NY) of Dowling.
LaBella, a freshman midfielder, recorded her first collegiate goal and assist in Mercy's 2-0 win over ECC opponent Molloy on Wednesday. In the 55th minute of play, she recorded an assist on the game-winning goal and less than three minutes later added an insurance goal for the Flyers.
Mercy (1-4-0 overall, 1-1-0 ECC) will be back in action again on Monday, September 25, at Post. Kick-off is set for 3:30 pm.
