Bayside- Played both basketball and softball for four years under coach Piorkowski. Also participated three years in track. Upon graduation she received the awards Ms. Basketball and Ms. Softball. During her junior and senior years she was captain for both the basketball and softball teams. She was also named All-City and All-Queens for softball her junior and senior years. Bent averaged 15.93 per game in basketball during her high school career. Also in softball she had a batting average of .421, on base percentage of .569, and slugging percentage of .789.
Personal- Daughter of Margot Baker.
Played club basketball for the NYC Exodus and the Queens Rim
Rockers. Bent also played club softball for the Queens Nassau
Comets.
