Mercy College Women's Soccer Adds Becky
Pelow to Incoming Class
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Head coach Bobby Czumak announced that Becky Pelow (Mexico, NY) has committed to attend Mercy College and play with the women's soccer team, beginning in the fall of 2006.
Pelow is a 5-foot-6 goalkeeper from Mexico High School where she was a four-year varsity player for coaches Jeff Baum and Joely Kuss. She was fourth in her league for save percentage, racking up 220 stops. Pelow was named Most Valuable Player of the APW Tournament as a goalkeeper and received All-League Honorable Mention accolades.
"Becky is a tremendous asset to Mercy College," said Czumak. "Having an athlete like her in net will help anchor our defense, and build the confidence of our back line.
