HUNT VALLEY, Md. (June 5, 2017) – Sophomores Hunter Isnardi (Hicksville, N.Y./Hicksville) and Talia Stagnitta (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford) collected their All-American awards from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) in a banquet on Saturday night. Isnardi took home First Team honors, while Stagnitta was awarded Third Team honors. The duo are the first two All-Americans in program history.
Isnardi, the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Year, started in all 20 games and led the Mavericks with 71 goals and 78 points. The midfielder also set the Division II single-season record for draw controls with 182 and added 63 ground balls and 30 caused turnovers.
Stagnitta started in all 20 games and led the ECC with 70 ground balls and 39 caused turnovers, while adding four points on a goal and three assists.
