Women's Lacrosse Ranked No. 11 in Final IWLCA Coaches Poll

GRAND LAKE, Colo. (May 30, 2017) – The Mercy College women's lacrosse team is ranked No. 11 in all of Division II according to the final IWLCA Division II Coaches Poll, as announced by the organization earlier today.

The Mavericks end the season ranked for the first time in school history and the No. 11 ranking is the highest in program history. Mercy concluded the season having been ranked in the coaches poll for eight straight weeks. The Mavericks won a school-record 16 games and qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. The historic season by Mercy led to sophomores Hunter Isnardi and Talia Stagnitta becoming the first IWLCA All-Americans in program history. Two other ECC schools ended the season in the IWLCA Top 20, LIU Post (No. 5) and NYIT (No. 12).
