Women's Lacrosse Accomplishes Goal: Collects Over 100 Bags of Clothing for Donation to Developing Countries
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Dec. 15, 2011) - The Mercy College women's lacrosse team met the goal it set out for itself this past week. Today, the Mavericks helped load A&E Clothing Corporation's truck with over 100 bags of clothing, shoes and linens, which will be given to developing countries.
The donations, which were given by Mercy College staff, students, faculty and other members of the community, will be given to the people of third-world countries - A&E's prime reason for existence.
