Mercy’s Delmara Reece Among Nation’s Elite
Women’s Basketball Player Ranks Highly in NCAA

Mercy College women’s basketball student-athlete Delmara Reece continues to be among the nation’s leaders in rebounding. The NCAA has recently released the updated rankings for Division II, with all stats through February 21, 2010.

The Yonkers, N.Y., native is now eighth in the country in rebounds per game with 11.3. The Saunders High School product had been as high as first in the country earlier in the season.

Mercy concludes the regular season on Saturday, February 27, 2010, by hosting NYIT at noon inthe Mercy College Gymnasium. The game will be followed by an alumni game and reception.
