DOBBS FERRY, NY - The

by Steele, but the Penmen went on a 12-0 run to go up 22-8 with
11:13 remaining.
Mercy College fought back and cut the deficit to seven after a shot
from downtown by Steele with 3:31 remaining in the first half. The

within four points. However, the Penmen went on a 7-2 run to close
out the half. The Blue & White trailed 40-31 at the
intermission.
Alyssa Whitney and Stephanie Houghton opened the second half with
three-pointers to extend their lead to 13 (50-37). But the

Williams (Waldorf, MD) completed a nifty three-point play
and then Baxter hit a trifecta to cut the lead to five (57-52).
Southern New Hampshire responded with consecutive three-pointers by
Houghton and Christine Duffy. With Mercy College trailing by 11 and
11:51 remaining in the game, the Penmen again got back-to-back
three-pointers, this time from Whitney and Jenny McDade.
The Blue & White couldn't muster another comeback as the Penmen
took the victory.
