Mercy College Women's Basketball Secures 70-64 Victory over Post
DOBBS FERRY, NY - The
Mercy College women's basketball team had four players score in
double digits as they defeated Post University on Thursday in the
first regular season game played at the newly renovated gymnasium
in 28 years.
Sophomore forward Delmara Reece (Yonkers, NY) led
the way with a team-high 15 points, 19 rebounds and three blocks

The Mavericks (1-2) jumped out to a 5-0 lead on the strength of a
Borofsky three-pointer and a lay up by Reece. Mercy kept the
momentum as they stretched the score to 12-4 on a fancy lay up by
freshman forward Marquesha Moore (Bryans Road,
MD).
Post (1-3) got within four after two free throws by Jackie Sutton,
