Levine Adds PrestoSports/MBWA Women's Basketball Honor Roll Selection

DOBBS FERRY, NY - Mercy College freshman Aimee Levine (Flushing, NY) has been named to the PrestoSports/MBWA Women's Basketball Honor Roll for her stellar play last week. On Monday, she was also named the East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Levine began the week against Dowling College, putting up a career-high 21 points with six rebounds, four steals and three assists. Levine and the Mavericks traveled to C.W. Post to take on the Pioneers in what would be a hard-fought battle. The Blue & White came out on top with a 77-70 victory. Levine was 8-for-10 from the floor and totaled 17 points.

The freshman shot 68 percent for the week, which included making both of her three-point and free throw attempts. She averaged 19 points per game and had six steals for the week.

This season she is averaging 7.8 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game. The Mavericks will be back in action on Wednesday, February 11 at 5 p.m. when they host Queens.
