Mercy College's Aimee Levine Earns ECC Women's Basketball Player of the Week Honors

DOBBS FERRY, NY - Freshman guard Aimee Levine (Flushing, NY) has been named East Coast Conference (ECC) Women's Basketball Player of the Week for her performances against C.W. Post and Dowling last week.

Levine led the way for the Mavericks in the win over C.W. Post with 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting. In the game against Dowling, Levine put up a career-high 21 points with six rebounds, four steals and three assists.

For the week, she averaged 19 points per game and hit both of her three-point and free throw attempts en route to shooting 68 percent from the floor. This season Levine is averaging 7.8 points per game and 3.8 rebounds per game. She is also second on the team in steals with 36.

The Mavericks will be back in action on Wednesday, February 11 when they play host to Queens at 5 p.m.
