C.W. Post Tops Mercy College Volleyball 3-0
BROOKVILLE, NY - The Mercy College women's volleyball team was defeated 3-0 at C.W. Post in an East Coast Conference (ECC) match on Thursday. The Mavericks finish the year at 9-17 overall and 1-8 in the ECC. C.W. Post improved to 16-14 overall and 6-3 in the league.
The Pioneers posted the 3-0 decision with scores of 30-16, 30-22, and 30-19.
Senior Mariola St. Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) led the Mavericks with eight kills and picked up three digs. Freshman Shedeiky Hamilton (Yallahs, Jamaica) knocked down seven kills and recorded four digs. Senior Natalee Carty (Kingston, Jamaica) paced Mercy with six digs and added four kills.
