Bloomfield Tops Mercy Volleyball 3-0
BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Mercy College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to host Bloomfield in a non-conference match on Monday. The Mavericks are now 5-11 on the year.
It was a tight match throughout with Bloomfield taking the first game 30-27, before winning the next two by scores of 30-25, and 30-27, respectively.
Senior Mariola St. Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) led Mercy with 14 kills and added six digs. Senior Natalee Carty (Kingston, Jamaica) chipped in nine kills and tied for a team-high with 14 digs. Freshman Shedeiky Hamilton (Yallahs, Jamaica) posted eight kills and four digs.
Mercy returns to action on Tuesday, October 9, at Felician in another non-conference match.
