Mercy Volleyball Falls to C.W. Post, 3-0
DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College women's volleyball team fell by a score of 3-0 (30-18, 30-17, 30-18) at the hands of visiting C.W. Post on Thursday, October 19. The host Flyers dropped to 3-16 overall and 0-7 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play, while the Pioneers improved to 18-10 overall and 3-3 in league action.
Senior outside hitter Mariola St. Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) highlighted the Mercy offense as she registered 12 kills and added 12 digs. Freshman Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador) recorded eight digs and kills. Senior setter Melissa Baccari (Rego Park, NY) posted 21 assists and six digs.
Lucia Krskova recorded a match-high 18 kills and added 15 assists for C.W. Post. Jessica Lubeski posted 10 kills and picked up 12 digs. Aisha Sealy recorded 27 assists.
Mercy returns to action on Tuesday, October 24, at Concordia in another ECC contest.
