Bridgeport Tops Mercy Volleyball, 3-0 
BRIDGEPORT, CT - The Mercy College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (30-20, 30-18, 30-26) decision to host Bridgeport in East Coast Conference (ECC) play on Tuesday. The Flyers are now 3-13 overall and 0-4 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play. Bridgeport improved to 13-13 overall and 2-2 in league action.
Seniors Mariola St. Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) and Natalee Carty (Kingston, Jamaica) each recorded nine kills and nine digs in the match for Mercy. Freshman Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador) posted seven kills, 14 digs and three service aces. Junior Rose Harper (Croton, NY) registered a match-high 15 digs for the Flyers.
Bridgeport's Jessi Bornack led all players with 14 kills and added 14 digs. Jessica Heidenreich added 11 kills and 10 digs for the Purple Knights.
Mercy is in action again on October 12, at New Haven beginning at 7:00 p.m.
