Mercy Volleyball Falls to NYIT, 3-0 
DOBBS FERRY, NY - The Mercy College women's volleyball team fell in three games (30-25, 30-15, 30-21) to visiting NYIT on Tuesday evening at Dobbs Ferry High School. The Flyers are now 1-12 overall and 0-3 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play. NYIT improved to 11-5 overall and 3-1 in the league.
Senior outside hitter Mariola St. Fleur (Port-au-Prince, Haiti) led the Mercy attack with eight kills and added nine digs. Freshman Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador) posted seven kills and 11 digs for the Flyers. Sophomore Rose Harper (Croton, NY) also recorded 11 digs.
Olga Ivanova (W. Hempstead, NY) led NYIT with 12 kills and only one error in 21 attempts, while adding seven digs. Darya Skrypka (Brooklyn, NY) knocked down 10 kills, while Lindsey Buss (Laguna Niguel, CA) put up 37 assists and 10 digs.
Mercy is in action again on October 7, at Holy Family with Nyack.
