Mercy Volleyball Falls to Pace 3-1 
PLEASANTVILLE, NY - The Mercy College women's volleyball team fell by a score of 3-1, at the hands of host Pace University on Wednesday evening, September 20. With the loss, the Flyers fell to 1-9 while the Setters moved to 4-9.
Mercy took the first game of the match, 30-28, but Pace then won three straight games by the scores, 31-29, 30-25, and 30-20. Senior outside hitter Mariola St. Fleur recorded 24 kills and tacked on three blocks for Mercy. Freshman middle hitter Diana Bruzzone (Guayaquil, Ecuador) added 33 digs and 15 kills. Sophomore setter Trevene Smith (Old Harbor, Jamaica) had 39 assists and freshman middle hitter Sasha Atkins (Bronx, NY) recorded three blocks.
The Flyers return to action on Tuesday, September 26 at 7:00 pm for their first home match of the season versus St. Rose.
