Mercy's Diana Bruzzone Named ECC Volleyball
Co-Rookie of the Week 
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Mercy College volleyball player Diana Bruzzone (Guayaguil, Ecuador) has been named East Coast Conference (ECC) Co-Rookie of the Week. She shares the award with Kristina Bennett of Concordia.
Bruzzone, a freshman middle hitter, led the way for the Flyers at the Bryant Tournament on September 8 and 9, with 3.22 kills per game and 4.11 digs per game, which earned her a spot on the All-Tournament team. Bruzzone recorded a weekend high of 14 kills in the Bentley match.
Mercy (1-3) will return to action Thursday, September 14, at Franklin Pierce College.
