ECC Cross Country Polls Released

The East Coast Conference has released preseason polls for men's and women's cross country, and the Mercy Mavericks were selected to finish in eighth place in both polls. The polling was recently conducted among the head coaches in the league.

The Queens College women and the C.W. Post men have been tabbed the ECC preseason favorites. Junior Jackline Toek from NYIT and sophomore Christian Altamura from C.W. Post were named the preseason Runners of the Year.

Mercy opens the regular season by heading to West Point, N.Y., for the Army Invitational on Friday, September 3.
