Hunte Kicks Off CTC Championships with Another First for Mercy College

POMONA, NJ - The Mercy College track and field program got its trip to the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships off to a strong start on Saturday. The event is hosted by Richard Stockton College.

Senior David Hunte (Labrea, Trinidad and Tobago) captured another first place finish in the men's triple jump, posting a high mark of 14.13 meters.

On the women's side, junior Janet Wong (Vancouver, Canada) took sixth place in the javelin. She registered a toss of 33.46 meters.

The Mavericks will wrap up competition at the CTC Championships on Sunday, April 19.
