Mercy College Track & Field Competes at NYU Fastrack

NEW YORK, NY - Three members of the Mercy College track and field program were in action at the NYU Fastrack Invitational on Friday, held at the New Balance Track and Field Center.
Senior David Hunte (Labrea, Trinidad and Tobago) just missed a top ten finish, placing 11th in the men's triple jump with a mark of 13.45 meters. Junior Jamsel Reyes (Monroe, NY) registered a team season-best time of 2:02.10 to place 39th in the 800 meter run. Senior Katelyn Klobus (Averill Park, NY) rounded out the competition with a time of 2:36.29 to finish 41st in the women's 800 meter run.
The Mercy College track and field teams return to the New Balance Track and Field Center for the USATF Open on Saturday night.
