Hunte Finishes Second in Men's Triple Jump at New Balance

DOBBS FERRY, NY - While most of the Mercy College track and field team was competing at the DeSchriver Invitational on Saturday, senior David Hunte (Labrea, Trinidad and Tobago) took his talents to the prestigious New Balance Invitational.
The first Mercy College student-athlete in program history to participate in the event, Hunte placed second in his flight of the men's college triple jump with a mark of 13.79 meters. He finished ahead of several NCAA Division I competitors.
The track and field teams will return to action on Friday, February 13, at the CTC Indoor Championships.
