Mercy College Cross Country Travels to College of St. Rose Joust
ALBANY, NY - The Mercy College cross country teams competed at the College of St. Rose Joust on Friday. Neither squad scored as a team, but the Mavericks had six individuals competing.
Peter Yarema led the men's team, finishing the race in a time of 30:44. Kevin Gibson was the second Maverick to cross the line at 32:29. They were followed by Tom Cannariato at 32:34, and Jose Gomez at 32:39.
On the women's side, Katelyn Klobus finished sixth overall at 21:39.45. Janet Wong also competed for Mercy, running a time of 26:42.
The Mavericks return to action on Saturday, October 13, at the Albany Invitational.
