Mercy's Janet Wong Takes First in Javelin at CTC Championships, Jessica Fabian Registers Personal Best
ALLENTOWN, PA - The Mercy College outdoor track and field team got off to a great start at the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships hosted by DeSales University on Saturday.

Sophomore Janet Wong (Vancouver, Canada) took first place in the women's javelin as she registered a throw of 37.66 meters on her first attempt. Junior Jessica Fabian (Whitehall, PA) also turned in a big day, setting a new personal best in the javelin with a throw of 25.44 meters.
"I'm very happy with the way we started the CTC Championships today," said Head Coach Dr. Darryl Bullock. "We're looking forward to getting out and performing well again tomorrow."
The Mavericks will compete again with a full schedule of events at the CTC Championships on Sunday, April 20.
