Mercy College Indoor Track & Field Competes at Great Dane Classic
BRONX, NY - The Mercy College indoor track and field teams competed in the Great Dane Classic at the New Balance Track and Field Center on Friday, January 19.
Freshman Nathaniel Rose (Queens, NY) highlighted the day for the Mercy men, placing second in his heat of the 200m with a time of 23.91 seconds. Junior Tom Cannariato (Goshen, NY) finished 10th in heat No. 3 of the one-mile run with a time of 5:06.18.
On the women's side, sophomore Katelyn Klobus (Averill Park, NY) placed 12th in the finals of the 800m run, finishing in 2:32.70.
Mercy is scheduled to return to action on Saturday, January 20, at the Colgate Games for Women, and again on Thursday, January 25, at the New York Road Runners Club "Thursday Night at the Races".
