BRIDGEPORT, CT – The Mercy College softball team was defeated in a pair of games by Bridgeport University on Saturday, dropping the first game 8-0 and the second 4-3. The Mavericks’ record falls to 7-24 overall and 2-12 in East Coast Conference (ECC) play, while Bridgeport improves to 17-17 overall and 9-5 in conference action.
