Eileen Sacharewitz joins the coaching staff after playing for Mercy in the spring of 2007. She will assist with the day-to-day operations of the program.
Sacharewitz started all 20 games last season, finishing tied for the team lead in doubles, tied for third in hits, and belted one home run. She was also one of the squad's top defensive players, making only three errors in 94 chances for a .968 fielding percentage.
Sacharewitz is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in
behavioral science at Mercy and is on schedule to graduate in the
spring of 2008.
