Kelsey Kulk Added to Mercy College Softball Coaching Staff

Kelsey Kulk has been added as an assistant coach for the Mercy College softball program. The appointment was announced by Mercy College Director of Athletics Patricia Kennedy.

Kulk, a White Plains, N.Y., native, will work primarily with the outfielders under first-year head coach Mike Fazio. Additionally, Kulk will be heavily involved in recruiting and administrative duties.

A 2010 Kennesaw (Ga.) State graduate with a degree in Exercise and Health Science, she started 47 games, hitting .230, with six homeruns and 21 RBI.

At White Plains High School, where she still holds the school's homerun record, Kulk was a captain her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, she was named the New York Player of the Year and the New York Gatorade Player of the Year, in addition to earning All-State First Team.

Kulk lives in White Plains, N.Y.
