Krissy Lacik Named Assistant Softball Coach
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Nov. 30, 2011) – Former Mercy College softball standout Krissy Lacik has been named an Assistant Coach for the softball team, Head Coach Mike Fazio announced today. The Edison, N.J. native is pursuing a post-baccalaureate degree at Mercy after having graduated last year with a bachelor of science in health science. Her primary duties will include overseeing strength and conditioning and working with the outfielders.

Softball Announces Nine Signings in 2011-12
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (Oct. 27, 2011) – Mercy College softball head coach Mike Fazio announced the incoming class for the 2012 squad today, which will be made up of nine new signings. The list includes seven freshman and two transfers, a sophomore and a junior.

Chelsea Methot Tabbed as ECC Nominee for NCAA Woman of the Year
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - This month, Mercy College standout softball senior Chelsea Methot was chosen as the East Coast Conference’s nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year competition. She was named the Mercy College Woman of the Year after her monster senior season.

Mercy Softball Team Holding Tryouts on September 8 & 9
DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. - The Mercy College women’s softball team will be holding walk-on tryouts for interested female students during the first week of classes on the Dobbs Ferry Campus. To be eligible to tryout, students must be enrolled at Mercy College for the 2011 fall semester as a full time student and must be taking a minimum of 12 credits.

Kelsey Kulk Added to Mercy College Softball Coaching Staff
Kelsey Kulk has been added as an assistant coach for the Mercy College softball program. The appointment was announced by Mercy College Director of Athletics Patricia Kennedy.

Mike Fazio Named Head Softball Coach at Mercy College
Mercy College Director of Athletics Patricia Kennedy announced today that Mike Fazio has been named the head coach for the Mavericks’ softball program. Fazio takes the reins after a two-year stint as an assistant coach. He will continue to serve as the head men’s and women’s cross country coach.
