Welcome to Paige Cauley's Softball Blog!
Throughout the season, junior infielder Paige Cauley will blog
about her experiences on the
softball team. You'll get an inside look at the development of the
season, beginning with off-season workouts through the sunshine of
May.
Paige is from Stratford, N.J., southeast of Philadelphia, down
towards Atlantic City.
A four year infielder at Sterling High School, she began her college career at Iona College in New Rochelle.
At Sterling, she was named 1st team All Conference, 1st team All
Group II and 1st team All-SJ honors her sophomore, junior and
senior seasons She made 1st Team all-state and captained her team
to the state semi-finals her senior year. She was also a
member of the Inferno Red, who captured the 18 & Under title at
ASA States, and the NJ Elite who won the 23 & Under
championship ASA States.
During the 2009 season, Cauley tied for the team lead with a .357 batting average, while leading the Mavericks in hits (41), runs scored (24), doubles (15), and stolen bases (6).
