2008: Started 35 of the 38 games in which she
played…Had 18 hits, knocked in seven runs and scored eight
more…Also won four games in the pitcher’s circle with
five complete games and two shutouts…Pitched a complete game
shutout against Briarcliffe, allowing only two hits while striking
out nine.
2007: Played in and started all 20 games as a
freshman...Second on the squad with 10 hits...Tied for the team
lead with two doubles and three runs batted in...Went 2-for-4 with
an RBI at Queens (3/28)...Was 2-for-4 with a run driven in versus
Concordia (4/24)...Also pitched in five games, making five starts
and completing three...Struck out 10 batters in 21 innings
pitched...Posted four strikeouts in each of her last two outings at
NYIT (4/28) and St. Thomas Aquinas (4/29)
Rye Neck: LaBella played softball for three years as a pitcher, where she was All-League every year and MVP her senior year...She was coached by Doug Choron...Recorded the lowest ERA along with the best record during her high school career...She also played soccer for five years as midfielder under Coach Choron...In addition she played field hockey and basketball for one year.
