her rookie campaign...Went 1-for-2 at C.W. Post (4/20)...Collected
a double and a run scored at NYIT (4/28)
Bayside- Played both basketball and softball for
four years under coach Piorkowski...During her junior and senior
years she was captain of both teams...Named All-City and All-Queens
for softball her junior and senior years...Had a batting average of
.421, on base percentage of .569, and slugging percentage of
.789...In basketball Bent averaged 15.93 points per
game during her high school career...Upon graduation she
received the Ms. Basketball and Ms. Softball awards...Also
participated in track and field for three years.
