Prosper Competes for Mercy College Men's Tennis at ECC Flight

FLUSHING, NY - Senior Timon Prosper (Mardi Gras, St. Georges) represented the Mercy College men's tennis team in the ECC Flight Championships on Saturday to open the 2009 spring season.
Prosper squared off against Saulo Gonzales of Dowling College in the quarterfinals of the No. 2 flight. He battled hard in a tight match, but fell in the end, 7-5, 6-4.
The Mavericks will begin dual match play on Saturday, March 21, when they take on Queens College.
