Mehdi Rhazali Earns Third ECC Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week Honors
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Freshman Mehdi
Rhazali (Rabat,
Morocco) has been named East
Coast Conference (ECC) Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for the
third time this season.
Rhazali posted a 6-2, 6-0 win over Marcelo Kim of Queens at No. 2
singles in the semi-finals of the ECC Championships. He also teamed
up with senior Zeki Tukel
(Istanbul,
Turkey) for an 8-2 victory at No.
1 doubles over David Burstein and Fabio Minami.
The Mavericks finished its season with a 4-7 record overall and 3-2
within the conference.
