Mercy Men's Tennis Falls to Concordia, 5-0, in NYCAC Semifinals

BRONXVILLE, NY - The Mercy College men's tennis team fell to host Concordia, ranked No. 35 in the nation, by a score of 5-0, in the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC) Team Championship semifinals.  The Flyers' overall record in now 10-3 on the year.

Concordia took all three doubles matches.  The duo of Hans Peter Gartner and Yusufcan Koksal fell by a score of 8-2 at No. 1, while Carl Johnson and Vyacheslav Glebov dropped an 8-5 decision, and Pavol Vasko and Timon Prosper were defeated 8-2.

Johnson fell at No. 3 singles, 6-2 and 6-3, and Vasko was defeated 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6.  The other four singles matches were not completed.
