DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. (April 24, 2012) – Mercy College hosted the Men's Soccer Alumni Day at Dobbs Ferry High School on Saturday, April 21.  More than 30 alumni took part in the event, with players representing each of the past three decades returning to take on the current squad in an exhibition game that drew fans from their own youth teams, families and friends.

The game itself was a highly competitive three-period contest from start to finish, but the 2012 squad pulled away in the final minutes of a 4-2 decision.  Gianfranco Bastone '10, MS '11 and Raldino Powell '11 scored the goals for the alumni in the first and second periods, respectively.                                                                                                                  

Alumni and current players joined together for a post-game reception and alumni toured the Dobbs Ferry campus to see the numerous renovations and upgrades both since their time and currently underway.
