ECC Releases Preseason Men’s Soccer Poll

The Mercy College men’s soccer program has been picked to finish in seventh place in the East Coast Conference, as picked by the eight head coaches in the league. The conference office released the poll today.

The defending ECC Tournament Champion C.W. Post Pioneers were selected to claim the regular season title in 2010.  Junior forward Farah Toure from NYIT was named the Preseason Offensive Player of the Year while senior defender Brian Buckmire from Queens College was voted the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year.

Mercy opens the regular season by travelling to Nyack on Thursday, September 2, at 4:00 p.m.
