Brown's Late Goal Gives Mercy 2-1 Victory Over

DOBBS FERRY, NY - Lennox Brown's goal with just under five minutes remaning gives the Flyers a big 2-1 New York Collegiate Athletic Conference victory. Mercy trails early before Newton Carnegie's penalty kick goal early in the second half knots the score, setting the stage for Brown's heriocs. With the victory combined with New Haven's loss to Bridgeport, the Flyers qualify for the NYCAC playoffs and the chance to defend last season's championship crown. (8-6-1 overall, 4-4-0 NYCAC)
