CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Apr. 11, 2012) - For the second consecutive week, Mercy College junior attackman Mike Marzocca (North Babylon, N.Y.) earned East Coast Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week honors. The announcement was released by the league office on Monday evening.

Marzocca helped the Mavericks earn their fifth straight win versus the College of Saint Rose on Wednesday with four goals and two assists. He also scooped up four ground balls and had one caused turnover.

Last week, Marzocca was named ECC Player of the Week and Nike Player of the Week.

Head Coach Steve Manitta and the Mavericks return to action on Saturday when they travel to Long Island to square off against C.W. Post. Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
