Last season, Head Coach Steve Manitta led his second-year program to an 11-3 overall record (7-3 East Coast Conference) and guided his troops to finish the 2011 campaign with a No. 7 national ranking among Division II. Junior goalkeeper T.J. DiCarlo (Farmingdale, N.Y.) was named an USILA All-American, USILA Division II Goalkeeper of the Year, to the All-Conference First Team and ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, while Manitta was tabbed ECC Coach of the Year.
Junior midfielder John Lionetti (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y.), junior defender Mike Munch (West Babylon, N.Y.) and sophomore attacker Jesse Wood (Binghamton, N.Y.) all notched spots on the ECC Honorable Mention team last season.
