Adam Parmenter was named the head men’s basketball coach prior to the 2010-11 season.
Parmenter first came to Mercy College for the 2008-09 season, serving as an assistant coach. He was then promoted to Associate Head Coach for the 2009-10 campaign.
“Adam Parmenter allows us to provide continuity for the program,” Mercy College Director of Athletics, Pat Kennedy said. “His knowledge of the game, of our student-athletes, and the East Coast Conference make him the right person for this job.”
Parmenter has assisted with the day-to-day operations of the program, scheduling, general instruction and strategic in-game situations. His strong recruiting presence on the national level has allowed the program to become involved with some of the top high school and junior college players.He previously served as the Director of Development at Five-Star Basketball, Inc. where he assisted in camp recruiting, served as an administrative director and program coordinator, assisted with marketing efforts, and coordinated special events. He also assisted in editing instructional materials, such as the “Five-Star Coaches’ Playbook: Vol. 2.”
Prior to Mercy, Parmenter coached at the Fordham Preparatory School, as the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach and Head Junior Varsity Basketball Coach. He was also an assistant coach at the collegiate level with Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire where he helped with all aspects of the Eagles’ NCAA Division III program.
In addition to his coaching duties, Parmenter serves as Associate Director of Alumni Relations at Mercy College.
Jeremy Fink

Jeremy Fink comes to Mercy after spending three seasons on the staff at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. Fink joined the Knights as a Graduate Manager in 2008 and was quickly promoted to assistant coach after the season. Prior to Fairleigh Dickinson, he served as the varsity assistant coach at Poly Prep Country Day School in Brooklyn.
Fink's duties will include leading the Mavericks' individual player development program, as well as assisting in scouting and game preparation.
Matt Brundage

Matt Brundage joined the Mercy College coaching staff after turning in a fine career as a forward at Ursinus College. During his junior year, the Bears reached the NCAA Division III national semi-finals. Brundage was awarded the Ursinus College Athletic Directors Award in 2009, given annually to the athlete who demonstrates strong commitment and loyalty to the team, after serving as team captain.
In addition to his playing experience, Brundage has served as a coach at HoopZone in Englewood, NJ. He currently works in Purchasing at Archbrook Laguna in Carlstadt, NJ.
Brundage will work with the Maverick frontcourt players, in addition to recruiting and supervising the team's conditioning program.

Michael Mei enters his second season on the Mavericks' bench playing a key role in the team's academic and athletic development. An enthusiastic young coach, Mei has served as JV Basketball coach at Baruch High School, as well as a head coach with the New York Rockits youth program.
In addition to his coaching duties, Mei has served as an english professor at both Mercy College and SUNY-New Paltz. He holds Master of Arts degrees in Teaching and English from SUNY - New Paltz and is an IAABO certified Basketball Official.
Orlando Daniel

Orlando Daniel finished his career at Mercy serving as team captain during his Junior and Senior campaigns. Daniel returns to the program as a graduate assistant, and has served as a coach within the CT Future Stars and CBA AAU basketball programs.
Among other responsibilities, Coach Daniel will be in charge of supervising student managers, operating the game tape exchange program and coordinating travel and team meals.
