Five Mavericks Score in Double-Digits At 101-63 Loss To Molloy

Rockville Centre, N.Y. -- Maverick junior Ed Wilson (Bronx, N.Y./Monsignor Scanlan) led the Mercy College men's basketball team with 15 points as five Mavericks score in double figures despite the 101-63 loss at Molloy at Quealy Gym.
Wilson tallied 15 points off 6-for-14 shooting, with three assists and a steal. Rookie Bryan Van Cott (Oyster Bay, N.Y./Oyster Bay) posted 12 points, as well as junior Manny Garcia (Bronx, N.Y./Cardinal Spellman). Junior transfer Hasaan Powell (Bridgeport, Conn./Iowa Central CC) tallied 10 points.
Garcia had a team high nine rebounds.
With the loss the Mavericks fall to 0-13 on the season and 0-6 in the East Coast Conference.
