play, and extended the lead to 24-9 with 14:01 to play. Mercy would
never challenge again for the lead.
The game’s leading scorer was Mercy’s Garcia, who
netted 24 points. Jimmy Gunville

Ikyaator’s 16. He added 10 rebounds to record the
game’s only double-double. Jermaine Washington recorded 15
points for Bridgeport, making all five of his shots from the
field.

C.W. Post on Sunday, February 14, for a Valentine’s Day
matinee. That game was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February
10, but was postponed by the weather.
