Mercy College Basketball Reschedules Games against Queens

DOBBS FERRY, NY - The
Mercy College basketball teams have rescheduled its games against
East Coast Conference (ECC) opponent Queens for Monday, January 19
beginning with a 5 p.m. tip-off for the women's game. The men's
team will follow at 7:30 p.m.

The women's team (4-9, 1-3 ECC) defeated St. Thomas Aquinas on
Wednesday by a score of 69-52 on the strength of sophomore forward
Delmara Reece (Yonkers, NY) who poured in a
career-high 26 points and was one shy of her career mark in
rebounds with 23.
The men's team (0-13, 0-4 ECC) was edged by St. Thomas Aquinas by a
score of 68-56, but had three student-athletes score in double
figures. Sophomore guard Ed Wilson (Bronx, NY)
recorded 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting and added five steals.
The games were previously scheduled for January 10, but were postponed due to inclement weather.
