Mercy's Michael Marin Earns Spot on PrestoSports/MBWA Weekly Honor Roll
DOBBS FERRY, NY - Mercy College junior men's basketball player Michael Marin (Flushing, NY) was named to the PrestoSports/Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association (MBWA) Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Marin, a 6-foot-3 junior guard, scored a career-high 27 points at NYIT on Wednesday. He hit on 9-of-14 from the field, including a career-high five three-pointers in eight attempts, and was a perfect 4-for-4 at the free throw line. Marin also pulled down four rebounds, handed out three assists and picked up a steal. He leads Mercy in scoring on the year, averaging 14.4 ppg.
Mercy will take a break from East Coast Conference play this week, traveling to Stonehill on Thursday and LeMoyne on Saturday.
