McMullen proved to be too much for freshman Matt Walsh in the finale, cruising to an 8-1 decision to earn the crown.
In other first round action, Walsh pulled away from a tight match early with freshman Steve Marsar to claim an 8-4 win and Drew Brown knocked off Bill Sullivan 8-2. Brown met up with Walsh in the semifinals where Walsh dismissed Brown with ease, 8-1.
