NYCAC to Change Name to East Coast Conference
NEW YORK, June 13, 2006 – The New York Collegiate Athletic Conference has changed its name to East Coast Conference and has unveiled new logos and trademarks, it was announced today by Edward J. Manetta, Commissioner, and Drew Bogner, Ph.D., President of Molloy College. The change takes effect on July 1.

DOBBS FERRY, NY – At the 71st Commencement Ceremony, 24 past and present Mercy College student-athletes received undergraduate degrees, and three received graduate degrees. The ceremonies were held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY, on Wednesday, May 31.

DOBBS FERRY, NY and BETHESDA, MD – Mercy College has entered into a partnership with PrestoSports to develop and host the college’s official athletics website. MercyAthletics.com was officially launched today as the official website of Mercy College’s Department of Athletics.

Mercy College to Revive Men’s Golf Program
DOBBS FERRY, NY – Mercy College Director of Athletics Dr. Kevin McGinniss announced that after a two-year hiatus the athletics department will revive its men’s golf program. Recruiting for the 2006-07 academic year will begin immediately.

The golf team has been Mercy's most prolific at earning championship banners, taking six NYCAC team titles in an nine year period. The team also made school history in 1990 by featuring a female player for the first time ever, thus opening the door for all interested and competitive golfers in the future.
